Rock & Republic started off as a promising premium brand that broke many of the fashion rules with its denim jeans when Michael Ball launched it in 2002. However, the premium price did not go over well with consumers and the brand eventually went bankrupt. But Rock & Republic was resurrected after VF Corporation bought them and signed a long term licensing agreement with American fashion retailer Kohl’s. Today, Rock & Republic mixes in the high and low elements for an affordable style while maintaining its distinctive look. The men’s and womenswear combine edge with style making it highly sought after by the contemporary fashion minded consumers.
