Spring Court

The brand behind the original tennis shoe, Spring Court is the Paris based brand that was founded in 1936 by Georges Grimmeisen. Born of Grimmeisen’s desire to play tennis, Spring Court was founded with the invention of a revolutionary shoe designed purely for the purpose, using ventilated cotton canvas and a rubber sole to improve performance on the courts. In later years, its designs began to be worn outside of the tennis courts and a stylish influence began to be seen throughout the designs. Today, the iconic label creates both its traditional sporting shoe and more fashion-forward pieces.
