Inspired by her architect father and mother, who taught art and piano, Woo Youngmi was surrounded by creativity growing up in Seoul and harnessed this with her fashion studies to become the first menswear ready-to-wear female designed in Korea. Working alongside her sister, she launched her namesake label in 2002 as an escape from the mundane. The result is a collection of wardrobe staples 'think printed T-shirts - with a twist, impressive attention to detail and futuristic edge.
