Following a stint at Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Gillier brought an impressive background in high fashion to his own label in 1997. Wanting to 'create a French brand', Gillier founded Zadig and Voltaire: an uber cool label that embodies the French's typically nonchalant approach to high fashion and effortless cool. The resulting collections see luxe basics infused with an edgy attitude and rock and roll cool that makes the Zadig and Voltaire brand so highly sought-after.
